Dilation...

We had our doctor's appointment yesterday and the baby is looking good. She checked me and said I was about 2 centimeters dilated and she was super surprised at how low his head was. She said she would be extremely surprised if we made it another 3 weeks.
What?!?
Now, I know, I know, some people are dilated for weeks and weeks but I just can't believe this is all really happening!
It seems so incredibly real now and I am SO excited and SO scared all at the same time.
Although with each day, work is getting more and more difficult, I am still planning to work all of next week and then of course, if things went according to my plan I would have a few days to clean and rest and then he would come. Haha! My type A personality has it all planned out, BUT realistically this little guy could come tomorrow or make me wait another 3 weeks on pins and needles. I have learned better than to think things will happen the way I would like.

Needless to say, we are excited to have any progress at all and we will be making sure to get our bag packed this weekend.

We shall see what God has in store...
Let the fun begin!

Maternity Shoot

When we found out we were pregnant a friend of ours who has known our struggle with infertility offered to take our maternity pictures as a gift. It is amazing to think that was 9 months ago! She was so  sweet to take these for us!

This is THE month!

We should be having a baby this month! Wow! Saying that is so exciting but scary at the same time!
We are down to the once a week doc appointments and will be finishing up our birthing class tomorrow night. The nursery is completely ready, clothes are washed and organized, car seat base is in the car, the only thing left to do is pack our bag for the hospital.
I am getting more and more uncomfortable by the day and sleep is pretty much non existent-
(notice the bags under my eyes in the picture below).
I feel absolutely huge and cannot imagine getting any bigger, although everyone says I definitely will over the next couple weeks. Yipee!
I am still planning to work this week and next week unless something significant changes.
Little man is still moving like crazy, getting the hiccups at least twice a day, and growing strong.
Praise the Lord for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy full term baby in a few days!
Sophie wanted to be in the picture too!

Nesting!

Shaun and I spent the day doing some yard work. It was a lot of work but oh so rewarding to see our yard ready for spring and summer!
4 weeks until this little man comes to join the family workforce!

My New View

Officially experienced foot swelling this week and was shocked to look down and see my sandal straps being eaten by my ankles.
Up they go!

40 days until D-day!

I am 34 weeks pregnant and definitely feeling it. This week was rough. I caught a cold and sleep sucks now even more than it did already. Coughing is no fun with this belly and I am counting down the days until Spring Break! I am looking forward to doing...nothing!
Baby boy is still doing great and we are getting more and more anxious to meet him and smell him and snuggle him.
Tonight is our hospital tour and we are excited to see where we will be in just a few short weeks!

Spring!

Shaun just finished some yard work and I was enjoying the sunshine and watching little man move! Beautiful day!

As you can see my belly button is BARELY in and I officially have "the line" underneath it. No stretch marks, yet...
34 weeks in 24 hours or so!
